Train runs regularly between Belfast and Dublin, journey time is approximately 2 hours 10 minutes.

Belfast City Airport: Situated 3 miles from the centre of Belfast(see map). The N.I. Rail Service to Sydenham stops at the airport and runs from Great Victoria Street Station.

Belfast International Airport: Situated at Aldergrove, 19 miles from the centre of Belfast. Journey time approximately 30 minutes (via the M2 motorway). An Airport shuttle service operates between the City Centre and Belfast International Airport.
 
Seacat: (90 mins). From Stranraer Scotland to Belfast.

HSS Ferry: (1hr 45 mins). From Stranraer Scotland to Belfast.

Traveling from the south of Lisburn
From the M1 take the second turnoff for Lisburn (Saintfield Road). From the slip road take the first turn off the roundabout onto the Saintfield Road

Travelling from the north of Lisburn
From the M1 take the first turnoff for Lisburn (Saintfield Road). From the slip road take the third turn off the roundabout

Directions are then as follows:
Travel along the Saintfield Road through the first sets of traffic lights .Once through these lights (you are now on Sloan Street) make sure you are in the right hand lane.Go through the next set of traffic lights .At the round about take the second turn off unto the Queen's Road (stay in the right hand lane). The turn off for Lagan Valley Island is the first on your right.  Traffic lights are in operation to filter you unto the Island. Travel along the front of the building and across the Jubilee Bridge to the main car park.






 

The Museum is situated 7 miles east of Belfast, near Holywood, on the main Belfast to Bangor Road (A2), just 15 minutes outside Belfast City Centre with excellent access by road, rail and bus and close to Belfast City Airport. Nearest rail station to the Museum is Cultra Halt. Buses stop outside the Museum entrance.





 
The Factory is located at the Cutts in Derriaghy, drive through Dunmurry village, under the railway bridge and turn right and then turn right again .
